Gangadhar National Award

• Odia poet Pratibha Satpathy will be awarded the Gangadhar National Award.

• Pratibha Satpathy will be awarded the Gangadhar National Poetry Award for 2023 by Sambalpur University.

• The award will be presented on the occasion of the 58th Foundation Day of Sambalpur University.

• She has been awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award. Her works in Odia have been translated into several Indian and foreign languages.

• The award was instituted in 1989 by Sambalpur University.

• The award carries a citation, a shawl and a cash prize of Rs 1,00,00.
