Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Data Processing Assistant, Grade B position, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Officers from the Central Government, State Governments, or Union Territories must:
- Hold an analogous post on a regular basis, or
- Have three years of service in a grade with a pay scale of ₹5,500-₹9,000, or
- Have six years of service in a grade with a pay scale of ₹5,000-₹8,000.
Educational Qualifications:- Candidates should have one of the following qualifications:
- (A) Master’s Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science or M.Tech (specialization in Computer Application), or BE/B.Tech in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Technology.
- (B) Degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, or Electronics/Electronics and Communication Engineering, with two years of experience in electronic data processing (including computer programming).
- (C) Master’s Degree or Degree in Engineering with three years of experience in electronic data processing (including computer programming).
- (D) ‘A’ Level Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications, with three years of experience in electronic data processing (including computer programming).
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for candidates applying for this post is 56 years, as of the last date for receiving applications.
