Martyr's Day

• On January 30, the nation observed the 77th death anniversary and Martyrs' Day of Mahatma Gandhi.

• The country remembers the life and legacy of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30 every year.

• The day is also known as Shaheed Diwas or Martyr's Day.

• A Sarvadharma prayer was organised at the Gandhi Samadhi in Rajghat, New Delhi on the occasion.
