Successful test of anti-tank missile 'Nag MK-2'

  • On January 14, India successfully conducted the field test of indigenously developed third generation anti-tank guided missile 'Nag Mark 2' (Nag MK 2).
  • According to the Ministry of Defense, it is a third generation 'anti-tank fire and forget guided missile'.
  • These tests were conducted by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) at Pokhran Field Range in the presence of senior officials of the Indian Army.
  • During the tests, the missile demonstrated its accuracy by accurately destroying targets at maximum and minimum ranges, thereby proving its lethality.
