- Higher grades in English and lower grades in Tamil.
- Completion of Computer Application and Office Automation Certificate Course or equivalent approved by the government.

- Certificate of one-year training in Agama training schools.

- Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

- ITI Certificate in Plumber Trade.

- Agama Teacher
- At least five years of experience as a Teacher in a Veda Agama Padasalai (Saivam) or as a Senior Archakar for at least five years in temples under the HR&CE Department.
- Certificate of a four-year course in Veda Agama Padasalai in Saiva Agamam.
Age Limit
The age limit for all positions is between 18 to 45 years. Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms:
