- The bilateral naval exercise Varuna 2025 between India and France will run from 19 to 22 March 2025.
- This year's exercise will include maritime exercises and complex maneuvers in the undersea, surface and air domains.
- The exercise will see the participation of Vikrant and Charles de Gaulle along with fighter aircraft, destroyers, frigates and an Indian Scorpene class submarine.
- Varuna 2025 will have advanced air defence exercises and combat drills. It will include simulated air-to-air combat between the French Rafale-M and the Indian MiG-29K.
- The anti-submarine warfare exercise will provide rigorous training in underwater domain awareness.
