To be eligible for the Assistant Professor post, candidates must fulfill either A or B:
(A) Educational Qualifications
- A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a relevant subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree as per UGC norms may be exempted from NET.
(B) Ph.D. Qualification
Candidates with a Ph.D. from a university ranked among the top 500 globally (as per QS, THE, or ARWU rankings) are exempted from NET.
