Nari Shakti Se Viksit Bharat Conference

• A national conference was inaugurated in New Delhi by President Draupadi Murmu on International Women’s Day on March 8.

• The conference was organised by the Ministry of Women and Child Development on the theme “Nari Shakti se Vikas Bharat”.

• Women from various fields including officers from armed forces and paramilitary forces, Delhi Police, My Bharat volunteers, Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers and members of self-help groups participated in the event.

• Representatives from international organisations such as World Bank, UNICEF, UN Women, UNDP and UNFPA also attended the event.
