  • Former Indian left-arm spinner Dilip Doshi died in London at the age of 77.
  • The cause of death was cardiac complications.
  • He played 33 Test matches for India between 1979 and 1983.
  • He took 114 wickets in Tests at an average of 30.71. This included six five-wicket hauls.
  • Doshi also took part in 15 One Day Internationals. He took 22 wickets in ODIs.
  • His economy rate in this format was 3.96.
  • He made his Test debut at the age of 32.
