- India's first quantum computing valley will be launched in Amaravati by January 2026, as announced by IT Secretary Katamneni Bhaskar.
- This will enable academic institutions, healthcare providers, pharma companies and agri-tech and med-tech industries not only in Andhra Pradesh but across the country to avail the services of the Quantum Valley.
- The Quantum Valley Tech Park is expected to employ lakhs of professionals through research, innovation and industry collaboration.
- Access to its infrastructure will be provided to various state bodies, institutions and industries across the country.
- Katamaneni Bhaskar clarified that quantum computing will not eliminate jobs, as classical systems will continue to remain relevant.
