- The Swedish superstar has broken his own record for the 12th time in the event, having previously jumped 6.27m at the All Star Perch meet in France earlier this year.
- The performance was in front of a cheering home crowd at the Stockholm Olympic Stadium.
- It looks set for a great 2025 for the 25-year-old Duplantis after victory at the World Indoor Championships in March and the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year Award at the end of April.
- Australia's Kurtis Marshall finished second with a jump of 5.90m and Menno Vloon of the Netherlands was third.
- Former world record holder Renaud Lavillenie of France finished fourth on countback.
