Educational Qualification
Varies by post. Examples:
- Principal Scientific Officer: B.E./B.Tech. or M.Sc./MCA with 15 years’ experience
- Technical Assistant: B.E/B.Tech/MCA/Diploma/B.Sc.
- Junior Assistant: 10+2 with typing speed of 35 wpm
Age Limit (as on 11/07/2025)
- Group A: Max 56 years
- Group B: Max 30 years
- Group C: Max 27–33 years (as per post)
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ExSM as per GoI rules
Selection Process for NIT Jamshedpur Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025
Post-wise selection will include stages such as:
- CBT (Multiple Choice Questions)

Stage I: CBT (100 marks)
- Part A: GA, Reasoning, Maths, Language, Computer Awareness
- Part B: Subject-specific (Technical/General Administration)

Salary Structure
Pay levels vary from Level 3 (₹21,700) to Level 14 (₹1,44,200) depending on the post and group.
