International Day of Cooperatives 2025

• Every year the International Day of Cooperatives is observed on the first Saturday of July.

• This year the day was observed on July 5 across the world. The day is commonly known as Coops Day.

• The United Nations has declared the year 2025 as the International Year of Cooperatives.

• The theme of the 103rd International Day of Cooperatives 2025 is "Cooperatives: bringing inclusive and sustainable solutions for a better world." 

• The day raises awareness about how cooperatives work together for social, cultural and economic development.
