VNIT Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for VNIT Faculty positions in 2025:
Educational Qualification
- Ph.D. in the relevant or equivalent discipline is mandatory for all posts.
- First-class in preceding degrees (minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA).
Experience & Credit Points
- Professor (Level-14A): 10 years after Ph.D. or 13 years total, with at least 3 years as Associate Professor (Level 13A2) or equivalent; 80 credit points.
- Associate Professor (Level-13A2): 6 years after Ph.D. with at least 3 years at Assistant Professor (Level-12); 50 credit points.
- Assistant Professor (Level-12): 3 years post-Ph.D. or 6 years total experience; 20 credit points.
- Assistant Professor (Level-10): Ph.D. with no experience requirement.
