National Space Day 2025

• The second National Space Day in India was celebrated on August 23, 2025.

• The theme of the second National Space Day is "India's journey from Aryabhatta to Gaganyaan and imagining the infinite possibilities ahead".

• On August 23, 2023, Chandrayaan-3 mission completed the safe and soft landing of Vikram lander on the lunar surface.

• With this, India became the fourth country to land on the Moon and the first country to land near the south polar region of the Moon.
