7th anniversary of PMJAY

• Uttar Pradesh celebrated Ayushman Bharat Day on the 7th anniversary of PMJAY.

• The event was organized to mark the completion of seven years of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY).

• Special camps were organized across the state where Ayushman cards were issued.

• Uttar Pradesh topped the country in card distribution.

• 87% of eligible families reported having at least one member with an Ayushman card.

• Of the targeted nine crore beneficiaries, 5.38 crore Ayushman cards have already been issued.
