The Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) has announced walk-in interviews for recruitment of various Fleet Personnel and Trainee posts on a contract basis. This recruitment drive is for maritime professionals with competency certificates and youth seeking trainee posts in the dredging industry. DCIL Fleet Personnel & Trainees Vacancy 2025

  • Dredge Cadets (contract basis): 10 vacancies (UR-03, OBC-02, SC-02, ST-03)
  • Trainee Marine Engineers (contract basis): 5 vacancies (SC-03, ST-02)
  • Trainee Electrical Officers (TELO) (contract basis): 4 vacancies (OBC-01, SC-02, ST-01)

DCIL Trainees Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility varies by post:

  • Fleet Personnel posts require relevant Certificates of Competency (COC) such as Master FG, Mate FG, MEO Class certificates, or Electrical Technical Officer certificates.
  • Trainee posts require educational qualifications such as Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) for Dredge Cadets, 4-year Degree in Marine Engineering or related streams for Trainee Marine Engineers, and Electrical Engineering degrees with ETO course completion for Trainee Electrical Officers.
  • Candidates must possess valid Indian CDC, Passport, INDOS, and basic STCW’2010 certificates.
  • Reservation guidelines as per Government of India apply for SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories.

DCIL Trainees Recruitment 2025 Stipend Details

  • Dredge Cadets will be paid a stipend of Rs. 15,000 per month plus victualing allowance @ Rs. 600 per day.
  • Trainee Marine Engineers will receive Rs. 25,000 per month plus victualing allowance @ Rs. 600 per day.
  • Trainee Electrical Officers also receive Rs. 25,000 per month plus victualing allowance @ Rs. 600 per day.
  • Selected trainees need to furnish a bank guarantee of Rs. 3 lakhs to serve DCIL for five years after training and certification.

DCIL Recruitment 2025 Application Process

Candidates must appear for walk-in interviews and document verification at DCIL Head Office, Dredge House, H.B. Colony, Seethammadhara, Visakhapatnam on the given dates. Candidates should bring all necessary original certificates, along with self-attested photocopies, as per the post applied for.

How to Apply For DCIL Trainees Recruitment 2025?

  • Attend the walk-in interview on 22nd September 2025 for Trainees (Dredge Cadets, Trainee Marine Engineers, Trainee Electrical Officers)
  • Attend on 23rd September 2025 for other Fleet Personnel posts
  • Carry all required documents such as educational certificates, competency certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), passport, CDC, and identity proofs.

DCIL Trainees Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

  • Selection of Fleet Personnel is based on interview performance with a minimum cutoff of 50 marks out of 100.
  • Selection of Trainees is based on marks scored in prescribed qualifications (80% weightage) and interview (20% weightage) with minimum 50% marks required in each.
  • Management reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on eligibility, merit, and suitability.
