National Engineers Day

  • He also served as the Diwan of Mysore. Additionally, he also led the All India Manufacturers' Organization.
  • In 1955, he was awarded the Bharat Ratna for his remarkable contributions to engineering and national progress.
  • The theme of World Engineering Day 2025 was 'Engineering solutions for a sustainable world'.
