Eligibility Criteria for Powergrid PGCIL Apprentice Recruitment 2025

POWERGRID Apprentice Selection Process 2025
Selection will be transparent and merit-based. Candidates are shortlisted on academic marks. Document checks and other steps will follow.
- Merit List – prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (ITI/Diploma/Degree/PG).
- Document Verification – shortlisted candidates in the ratio of 1:5 will be called for DV.
- Medical Fitness & Contract Agreement – selected candidates must submit medical fitness and sign tripartite contract on NATS/NAPS portal.
POWERGRID Apprentice Stipend 2025
Chosen apprentices will get a monthly stipend. The amount changes with qualification level-ITI, Diploma, or Graduate.
- ITI: ₹13,500/-
- Diploma (Electrical/Civil): ₹15,000/- (incl. DBT ₹4000)
- Graduate (Engineering): ₹17,500/- (incl. DBT ₹4500)
- HR, Law, CSR, Rajbhasha: ₹17,500/-
Additionally, HRA of ₹2500/- may be provided if accommodation is not available.
