- In a major leadership reshuffle in India's Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), two senior 1993-batch IPS officers have taken charge of key paramilitary organisations.
- Praveer Ranjan has been appointed Director General (DG) of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), while Praveen Kumar has been appointed Director General of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
- Both officers will assume charge on September 30, 2025, following the retirement of their predecessors.
