Eligibility Criteria for TN MRB Health Inspector Recruitment 2025

• Must have passed plus two with Biology or Botany and Zoology.
• Must have passed Tamil Language as a subject in S.S.L.C Level III. Must possess Two years Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) / Health Inspector/ Sanitary Inspector Course Certificate granted by the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, “Provided that those who possess the one year the Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) training course certificate granted by the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine conducted in the Government training Centre or Institutions approved by the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, prior to the introduction of the two years Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) / Health Inspector/ Sanitary Inspector Course Certificate granted by the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, are also eligible for appointment to the said post.”
• As per one time Measure Relaxation ordered in G.O.(Ms).No.443, Health and Family Welfare (L1) Department Dated: 14.10.2025 all eligible applicants who have passed one year course certificate (Must possess one year Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) course / Sanitary Inspector Course in University affiliated / Government recognized institutions.
• The syllabus followed in such institutions should be equivalent to the syllabus prescribed by the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine vide G.O(Ms).No.338, Health and Family Welfare (L1) Department, Dated:02.08.2019) from those University / Institute which received equivalent certificate so as to participate in the recruitment process as one time measure as per G.O (Ms).No.338, Health and Family Welfare (L1) Department, Dated:02.08.2019.

Selection Process for TN MRB Health Inspector Recruitment 2025

• Candidates should undergo the Tamil Eligibility Test (SSLC Standard) in any of the sessions decided by the Board on the day of the Computer Based Test Examination (CBT) for the post of Health Inspector – II.
• Marks secured in the Tamil Eligibility test (S.S.L.C Standard) will not be taken into account for ranking.
• Candidates those who have qualified in Tamil Eligibility Test (S.S.L.C Standard) by obtaining minimum qualifying marks of 40 % alone are eligible for corrections of the subject paper prescribed for this post.
• Selection will be made based on the marks obtained in the Computer Based Test in the subject paper and the incentive marks awarded for the services rendered during Covid-19 pandemic, and duly following the rules of reservation and communal rotation of Government of Tami Nadu and other conditions stipulated in this notification
• Short – listed candidates will be called for verification of the original certificates as claimed in their on-line application form
• There will be No Oral Test for the post.

• Before applying, the candidates should keep a scanned image of their colour photograph and scanned image of their signature. (Preferably stored in a CD/DVD/Pen drive as per their convenience).
• A valid e-mail ID and Mobile Number is mandatory for registration and email ID and the given mobile number should be kept active till the declaration of results. MRB will send intimation regarding certificate verification, other Memos etc. only through the registered e-mail ID.
