Tribal Sports Conference

• The first-ever Tribal Sports Meet in Ladakh was held at the SAI Centre, Kargil, and KGBV, Chiktan.

• It was organized as part of the Tribal Pride Rainy Fortnight.

• The Tribal Research Institute of the University of Ladakh organized the event in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs.

• More than 200 tribal athletes from across Ladakh participated.

• They competed in taekwondo, boxing, and kho-kho events. Ladakh Police teams also participated.
