WorldSkills Asia Competition 2025

  • India has sent its first team to the WorldSkills Asia 2025 competition.
  • The event will be held in Chinese Taipei and will begin on November 27th.
  • Twenty-three Indian contestants will participate in the competition.
  • Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Jayant Chaudhary attended the valedictory ceremony.
  • He stated that the government's goal is to nurture talent capable of competing globally and contribute to India's goal of becoming a global skills hub.
  • He explained that the participants underwent months of intensive training under the guidance of experts and in collaboration with regional skills councils.
  • This is India's first appearance on the WorldSkills Asia platform.
