63rd Statehood Day of Nagaland

• Nagaland is celebrating its 63rd Statehood Day on 1 December.
• Nagaland became India's 16th state in 1963. Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla extended his best wishes and reflected on the state's journey since December 1, 1963.

• A state-level function is being held at the Civil Secretariat Plaza in Kohima. The Chief Minister addressed the gathering.

• Several new initiatives are being launched as part of this function.

• These projects are in line with the state's long-term development vision.
