BJP's new national working president

• The BJP Parliamentary Board has appointed Nitin Naveen as the National Working President of the Bharatiya Janata Party with immediate effect.

• This appointment has been made in view of his organizational capabilities and his long-standing association with the party structure.

• He is currently a minister in Bihar and holds the Road Construction Ministry in the state government led by Nitish Kumar.

• He is the MLA from the Bankipur assembly constituency in Patna district and has been elected five times.

• Mr. Naveen is the son of late Naveen Kishore Prasad Sinha, a veteran BJP leader and former MLA.

• At the age of 45, he has become the youngest National Working President in the history of the BJP.
