India-Malaysia joint military exercise Harimau Shakti 2025

• The India-Malaysia joint military exercise, Harimau Shakti 2025, has commenced at the Mahajan Field Firing Range in Rajasthan.

• This is the fifth edition of the exercise. It is being conducted from December 5 to 18, 2025.

• Soldiers of the Dogra Regiment are representing the Indian contingent.

• Soldiers of the 25th Battalion of the Royal Malaysian Army are representing the Malaysian side.

• The objective of this exercise is to practice sub-conventional operations under the mandate of Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter.
