- On December 22, the third of eight anti-submarine warfare (ASW) shallow watercraft, Anjadip, was delivered to the Indian Navy, marking another milestone in India's indigenous naval shipbuilding program.
- The vessel was indigenously designed and built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE), Kolkata, and delivered in Chennai.
- The project was executed under a public-private partnership model between GRSE and L&T Shipyard, Kattupalli, adhering to the classification rules of the Indian Register of Shipping.
- At approximately 77 meters in length, Anjadip is the largest Indian Navy warship to be powered by a waterjet propulsion system.
- The vessel is equipped with advanced lightweight torpedoes and indigenously developed anti-submarine rockets for effective underwater warfare operations.
