The selection process consists of three main stages:
Stage 1: Preliminary Examination

- Physics (Graduation Level) – 60 questions
- Minimum qualifying marks: 30%
- Negative marking: 0.2 marks per wrong answer
Stage 2: Main Examination
Paper I – General Language

Paper II – Physics (Graduation Level)
- 100 MCQs | 100 Marks | 3 Hours
- Minimum qualifying marks: 33%
- Merit is prepared only on Paper II marks
