Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/BCom or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- All required qualifications must be possessed on or before 26.02.2026.

For HCS & Allied Services (Except DSP)
- Minimum: 18 Years
- Maximum: 42 Years
For DSP Post
- Minimum: 18 Years
- Maximum: 27 Years

Selection Process for HPSC HCS Recruitment 2026
The HPSC HCS 2026 selection process consists of three stages:
Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (200 Marks)
- Paper I: General Studies (100 Marks)
- Paper II: CSAT (100 Marks – Qualifying)
- Objective Type
- 25 negative marking
- Only Paper I marks counted for merit
Stage 2: Main Written Examination (600 Marks)
