UPSC Recruitment 2026: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the official advertisement (Advt. No. 07/2026-IES/ISS) to recruitment to the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) in the year 2026. It has announced 44 vacancies.

Candidates must possess:
- Post-Graduate Degree in Economics
OR - Applied Economics
OR - Business Economics
OR - Econometrics
Indian Statistical Service (ISS)
Candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Applied Statistics as one subject
OR - Master’s Degree in Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Applied Statistics
All qualifications must be from a recognized university.
