- On March 22, Bihar celebrated its 114th Foundation Day, commemorating its formation as a separate state from Bengal in 1912.
- To mark the occasion of Bihar Diwas, a three-day state-level celebration is being organized at Gandhi Maidan in Patna.
- It has been announced that the festivities are being held under the theme "Unnat Bihar, Ujjwal Bihar" (Advanced Bihar, Bright Bihar), reflecting a vision of progress and development.
- The inaugural ceremony will be presided over by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, while the valedictory ceremony will be addressed by Governor Syed Ata Hasnain on March 24.
