Drug-Free India Week 2026

  • The *Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan* was launched in 2020 as a nationwide public awareness campaign.
  • Its objectives include raising awareness about the adverse effects of substance abuse, curbing the demand for narcotics, and strengthening counseling and rehabilitation services.
  • Under the campaign, awareness programs, counseling services, and activities based on public participation are organized in schools, colleges, villages, urban local bodies, and various communities.
