- The 29th National Conference on e-Governance (NCeG) 2026 is being organized on July 1 and 2, 2026, at the Rajasthan International Centre in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, with the aim of making digital administration, e-governance, and public service delivery in India more effective.
- This conference is being jointly organized by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), and the Government of Rajasthan.
- The conference will provide a common platform for policymakers, administrative officials, technical experts, and industry representatives.
- During the conference, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, will present the National e-Governance Awards 2026.
- This year, a total of 17 outstanding initiatives across seven different categories will be honored. The awards comprise 10 Gold awards, 6 Silver awards, and 1 Special Jury award.
- The objective of these awards is to encourage outstanding digital projects developed by government entities and organizations and to foster innovation.
