UKTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
UTET-I (Primary Level – Class I to V)
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
- Senior Secondary with the prescribed percentage along with D.El.Ed./BTC.
- Senior Secondary with a 4-Year B.El.Ed.
- Graduation with D.El.Ed./BTC.
- Any other qualification recognized by NCTE.
UTET-II (Upper Primary Level – Class VI to VIII)
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
- Graduation with D.El.Ed./BTC.
- Graduation with B.Ed./LT.
- Senior Secondary with a 4-Year B.El.Ed.
- BA/B.Sc.Ed.
- Special Education qualification recognized by RCI/NCTE.
UKTET 2026 Notification Age Limit
The official notification does not prescribe any minimum or maximum age limit for appearing in the UKTET 2026 examination.
Candidates must fulfill the educational qualifications prescribed by NCTE and UBSE.
