Bihar will host the India-New Zealand Under-20 rugby series

  • Rajgir, Bihar, will host the India-New Zealand Under-20 rugby series from October 22 to 28, 2026.
  • New Zealand’s Under-20 men’s and women’s teams—Tama Toa and Hine Toa—will participate in training sessions and matches alongside the Indian Under-20 teams.
  • This event also marks the completion of 100 years of sporting cooperation between the two nations.
  • During the series, players from both countries will take part in joint training sessions. The program also includes cultural activities and engagement with local communities.
  • Four competitive Rugby Sevens matches will be held on October 27. These include one match each for men and women, as well as two mixed-team matches featuring players from both countries.
