New Chairman of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

• IAS Vineet Joshi has been appointed as the new chairman of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

• He will replace IAS Manoj Ahuja.

• Presently he is the Director General of National Testing Agency (NTA).

• Vineet Joshi is a 1992 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Manipur cadre and was entrusted with the responsibility of the chairmanship of CBSE in 2010 as well.
