S. Sreesanth retires from domestic cricket


  • 39-year-old fast bowler S. Sreesanth retired from all forms of domestic cricket on March 9, 2022.
  • He played the last home match for Kerala in the Ranji Trophy.
  • Sreesanth played 27 Tests and 53 ODIs for India, taking 87 and 75 wickets respectively.
  • Sreesanth has been a member of the T20 World Cup winning team in the year 2007 and the 2011 World Cup winning team with the Indian team.
  • He made his international debut with an ODI against Sri Lanka in Nagpur on 25 October 2006.
