Sahityotsav Literature Festival

• Sahitya Akademi’s Festival of Letters known as Sahityotsav is India’s most inclusive literature festival. It is being held in New Delhi from 10th to 15th March 2022.

• This festival will be a part of the commemoration of India’s 75th anniversary of Independence.

• The events are themed on independence or the independence movement.

• There will be a specific corner at the Festival dedicated to displaying literature about India’s freedom movement as well as other items linked to the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

• The Festival commenced with the inauguration of Akademi Exhibition by the Minister of State for Culture, Arjun Ram Meghwal.
