- Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore is the top research university in the world, while Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati is ranked 41st in this category.
- Indian Institute of Science has got 100 marks out of 100 in the analysis of QS.
- IIT Delhi is the second best university in India and it has come up at 185 this time instead of 193 last year.
- IIS is at number 186.
- IIT Madras has jumped 20 places among the world's top 400 universities for the first time and is now ranked 255, its highest ranking since 2017.
- IIT Kharagpur is at 280 while IIT Guwahati is jointly ranked at 395.
