Cricketer Darren Sammy receives Sitara-e-Pakistan Award



  • Former West Indies captain Darren Sammy was awarded the Sitara-e-Pakistan Award for services to Pakistan during a ceremony.
  • The 38-year-old all-rounder was being recognized for his role in bringing international cricket back to Pakistan.
  • It is the third highest civilian award given by Pakistan.
  •  He has represented West Indies in 38 Tests, 126 ODIs and 68 T20Is.
