INS SINDHUDHVAJ Decommissioned

• On July 16, 2022, INS Sindhudhvaj was decommissioned from Indian Navy, after providing service for 35 years.

• The crest of the submarine portrays a nurse shark un grey colour.

• This Ship was the flag bearer of indigenisation as well as efforts of Indian Navy in attaining Atma Nirbharta in Sindhughosh class submarines throughout her service in the Navy.

• It has also undertaken mating and personnel transfer successfully, with Deep Submergence Rescue Vessel.

• It was a Sindhughosh-class submarine, in service from 1987.
