Highest civilian honour of Ladakh Award conferred to Dalai Lama


  • Highest civilian honour of Ladakh “dPal rNgam Duston” was recently conferred to Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama. 
  • He was honoured for his contribution towards humanity.
  • It was the 6th dPal rNgam Duston Award.
  • Award was conferred to Dalai Lama by Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh.
  • dPal rNgam Duston was celebrated to mark the foundation day of LAHDC at Sindhu Ghat.
  • Dalai Lama is currently on a visit to Ladakh, since July 15, 2022.
