Exercise Harimau Shakti-2022

• The India-Malaysia joint military exercise began on 28 November 2022 at Pulai, Kluang, Malaysia.

• The exercise has been named Harimau Shakti-2022. It will end on 12 December 2022.

• Combat troops from the Garhwal Rifles Regiment of the Indian Army and the Royal Malay Regiment of the Malaysian Army are participating in the exercise.

• It will enhance defense cooperation between the Indian Army and the Malaysian Army.

• It will also enhance interoperability in planning and execution of various operations in the jungle terrain.

• Harimau Shakti is an annual training event between the Indian and Malaysian armies. It is being organized since 2012.
