- India participated in the Malabar naval exercise-2022, which started in Japan on 8 November.
- India participated in the 26th International Malabar Naval exercise. The practice has been launched in Yokokka, Japan.
- Australia, Japan and America also participated in it. The navies of these countries will participate in practice by 18 November.
- Indian Navy ships Shivalik and Kamort are ready to participate in exercises.
- This year is the 30th anniversary of Malabar practice.
- Malabar began in 1992 as bilateral exercises between the US and the Indian Navy, Japan and Australia joined it in 2007 and 2020 respectively.
