India first Muslim woman fighter pilot

• Sania Mirza will become India's first Muslim woman fighter pilot.

• Sania Mirza, a resident of Mirzapur, UP, has been selected as a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force.

• She will become India's first Muslim girl fighter pilot and first IAF pilot from Uttar Pradesh.

• Only two seats were reserved for women in fighter pilot in 2022 NDA exam.

• Bhawna Kanth, Mohana Singh and Avani Chaturvedi are the first women fighter pilots of India. He was inducted into the fighter squadron of the Indian Air Force in June 2016.

• Shivangi Singh is India's first woman pilot for Rafale fighter aircraft.
