- He is currently Additional Secretary in the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education.
- Subhashish Panda has been appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).
- Lieutenant General Arvind Walia has been appointed as the next Engineer-in-Chief of the Indian Army.
- He will succeed Lt Gen Harpal Singh, who retires on December 31.
