Chandrayaan-3 successfully completes EMI-IMC EMC test

  • India's lunar mission, Chandrayaan-3 has successfully completed the EMI-EMC (Electro-Magnetic Interference / Electro-Magnetic Compatibility) test.
  • This test is performed for satellite missions to ensure the functionality of satellite subsystems in the space environment.
  • This test also ensures the compatibility of the satellite missions with the expected electromagnetic levels.
  • The test was conducted from January 31 to February 2 at the U R Rao Satellite Centre, Bengaluru.
  • The Chandrayaan-3 interplanetary mission has three major modules: propulsion module, lander module and rover.
  • Chandrayaan-3 is India's third lunar mission. It is a follow-on mission of Chandrayaan-2.
