Exercise desert flag

• The Indian Air Force contingent with 110 air warriors has reached the Al Dhafra Airbase of the United Arab Emirates to participate in the exercise desert flag VIII.

• The Indian Air Force is participating with five LCA Tejas and two C-17 Globmaster III aircraft.

• This is the first international exercise outside India for LCA Tejas.

• The exercise is taking place from 27 February 2023 to 17 March 2023.

• The purpose of practice is to participate in many war programs and learn from the best exercises of various Air Force.
