  • India has become the sixth country after France, Germany, Japan, Canada and China to have its own i-ATS products.
  • i-ATS (Indigenous-Automated Train Supervision) was launched from the Operations Control Center (OCC) at Shastri Park.
  • The i-ATS system was launched in the presence of several senior officials from both DMRC and BEL.
  • DMRC and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) have jointly developed the i-ATS system.
  • DMRC and BEL had signed MoU for the development of this system in November 2022. A full fledged i-ATS lab has been set up in the IT Park of DMRC.
