CISF Foundation Day

• The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Raising Day is observed every year on 10 March.

• Last year the 53rd Raising Day of CISF was celebrated. 

• This year is the 54th Raising Day of CISF.

• CISF is one of the Central Armed Police Forces in India. 

• It was established in 1969.

• It is entrusted with the task of protecting important government and industrial buildings.
